God Wars: The Demon Wars

Ages after the events of Apocalypse, the realm has been transformed and delved into chaos and destruction. The lands scorched, cities lay in rubble, forests turned to ashen plaines. The Demonic Overlords have since ruled over creation, imposing their will over its people. Growing complacent in their power, stagnation has replaced tenacity; the demons victory has become their prison.

Slowly, the grip of evil has loosened over the world, the mighty Empire not falling, but stalling. This is your crossroads, choosing the path of Hell, or fighting it.

By selecting Demon you vow to continue the process, continue the oppression and join the Empire. Demons will only be able to fight each other under the discretion of the Lords, and only in the arena known as Consequence.

Enough losses here, will brand you as an Outcast, stripping away any rank or authority provided. Winning, however, does not provide bonuses to power or authority. It does provide Rank of Consequence, which proves your might among demons; in turn granting recognition of the Lords who grant Authority.

[Authority: the ability to gain privilege and command over demons with less authority than you. Vague, but will be expanded upon as ideas come to mind.]

An outcast demon may engage in regular combat vs demons, or attempt to be accepted by the other classes alliances, but prepare to become a target.

Choosing any other class places you against the demons leadership, the Triumvirate. You may choose to defect from your allegiance and fight for the demons, however this choice is not only yours to make. Seek council with demonic lords, and perhaps you may be accepted.
